HCG Diet Menu

HCG Diet has a strict plan on imposing the 500 – calorie consumption per day. It may a little confusing on choosing which and what foods to eat on the HCG diet food list – breakfast, lunch, and dinner - during the day. Monday (Loading Phase)

 

You should know that the first two days of HCG diet is the loading phase. The loading phase means you should “load” yourself with high calorie foods. The number of calories will not be restricted as long as you load you self properly.  Choose your favorite meal, pizzas, sodas, burgers, etc. This is actually an important part of the diet that it is very advisable one must not take for granted.

The HCH diet menu plan should only include foods that are on the HCG food list or the allowed food to eat list during HCG diet. Here are some helpful tips you may need.

 

 

  • Chop onions and garlic in advance and keep refrigerate.
  • Fresh herbs and spices should be chopped and freeze with water in ice cube trays.
  • Weighed raw the meat, chicken, and fish after taking all visible fats. Only 100 grams is allowed per day.
  • Mix teas and brew coffees. Mix teas such as green tea or mint. Brew coffee and serve it with ice and stevia if you want.
  • Small amounts of garlic and onion can be used for a slight thickening agent for sauces and dressings.
  • You can take two fruits a day but in separate meal.
  • Store soups and stew for quick meal.
  • Always read food labels to know the amount of calorie of the food.
  • Look for food with labels like whole grain, whole foods, wild oats, etc.
  • You can make your own hamburger with only the 100 gram meat.
  • Include healthy fats like olive oil.
  • Drink plenty of water

SALAD AND APPETIZER

Shrimp Cocktail


Ingredients

100 grams raw shrimp (approximately 10 -12 medium shrimp steamed)

Cocktail sauce

Cocktail sauce

3 ounces tomato paste

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon hot sauce

1/8 teaspoon of horseradish or to taste

Dash of mustard powder

Stevia to taste

Salt and pepper to taste

Water as needed for desired consistency

Directions

Mix tomato paste, vinegar, horseradish, lemon juice and spices together and allow spices to marinate and dipping sauce to chill. Add additional water as needed to create desired consistency. Steam the shrimp until pink and well cooked. Chill shrimp for 30 minutes in the refrigerator and serve with cocktail dipping sauce.

 

SOUPS

Savory Chicken Soup

Ingredients

100 grams chicken breast cubed

1-2 cups chopped celery or tomatoes

2 cups chicken broth (or substitute for 1 cup of broth)

1 tablespoon minced onion

2 cloves garlic crushed and sliced

1 bay leaf

½ teaspoon organic poultry spice blend

Cayenne pepper to taste

Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

Bring chicken stock to a boil. Add onion, garlic and spices. Add chicken and vegetable and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes or more until chicken and cabbage are tender and fully cooked. Serve hot. Sprinkle with chives or parsley if desired.

 

BEEF ENTREES

Ground Beef Tacos


Ingredients

100 grams lean ground beef

Lettuce leaves

1 tablespoon finely minced onion

1 clove crushed and minced garlic

Dash of garlic powder

Dash of onion powder

Pinched of dried oregano

Fresh chopped cilantro to taste

Cayenne pepper to taste

Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

Brown ground beef. Add onion, garlic, and spices and a little water and simmer gently for 5-10 minutes. Add salt to taste. Serve taco style in butter lettuce or romaine leaf mock tortillas or with a side of tomatoes or salsa.

 

VEGETABLES

Garlic Spinach

Ingredients

Spinach

½ cup chicken broth or water

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons minced onion

2 cloves garlic crushed and minced

¼ teaspoon onion powder

Pinch red pepper flakes

Directions

Sauté the onion and garlic lightly in frying pan with a little water and lemon juice until soft. Add fresh garlic and spices. Stir in fresh spinach leaves and cook lightly. Serve with your favorite chicken or fish dish.

HCG as a Dietary Aid: What the FDA Say?

The FDA has provided its stamp of approval on the use of hCG -- as a fertility drug. In your attempts to lose weight by tricking your body with the presence of a pregnancy-related hormone, your body may turn the tables and help you get pregnant. Within five years of its discovery, hCG was already being packaged and marketed to the public as a fertility drug. Aside from fertility, the FDA doesn't approve hCG use for any other reason, including weight loss. There have been reports of people obtaining hCG (or something being passed off as hCG) on the Internet, despite the need for a prescription to obtain the drug. Such practice would bring up issues of safety and effectiveness of the doses being provided through the black market.

The hCG diet can be somewhat pricey: A consultation visit and 23- or 40-day supply of hormones and syringes could run you around $500 to more than $1,000 [sources: Hartocollis; Haupt]. Many people do a cycle of the hCG diet, eat normally for six weeks, and then follow up with one or more cycles of hCG. MEAL DIET
BREAKFAST
  • Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24 hours. Saccharin (artificial sweetener) or Stevia (natural sweetener) may be used.
LUNCH
  1. 100 grams of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp. All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The chicken breast must be removed from the bird.
  2. One type of vegetable only to be chosen from the following: spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage.
  3. One breadstick (grissino) or one Melba toast.
  4. An apple, orange, or a handful of strawberries or one-half grapefruit.
